SUMMARY:GLIMMER! A Monthly Event!
DESCRIPTION:GLIMMER IS BACK FOR MORE!\nYour favourite monthly event just keeps getting better\, and we have YOU to thank for it! \nThanks to your support\, Wortley Pride\, alongside the Glimmer Committee\, has been able to create a recurring\, consistent and welcoming event that brings our community together\, supports local art and puts representation at the forefront. \nOur gracious hosts at the Victory Legion have helped us continue to grow GLIMMER by providing a fully accessible venue. We’re now UPSTAIRS\, which means even more room for dancing\, socializing\, networking or simply enjoying the atmosphere. \nWith inclusivity in mind\, we also understand the importance of de-centering alcohol at events and in community spaces. The venue offers sober-conscious options so everyone can feel comfortable and included. \nGLIMMER is more than a dance and social event. It also supports the local arts community by providing a platform for local and out-of-town performers to showcase their talent in a welcoming and supportive space. \nStay tuned for upcoming lineup announcements\, and thank you for helping us build this beautiful thing we call GLIMMER together! \nWant to Get Involved?\nInterested in performing\, sponsoring GLIMMER or sharing your feedback? We’d love to hear from you. \nReach out to the Glimmer Committee at @yourmonthlyglimmer on Instagram\, or message Wortley Pride to learn more about ways you can get involved and support the event. \nGLIMMER Event Details\nEvery Last Thursday of the Month\nUpstairs at Victory Legion — 311 Oakland Ave\nSober Options Available\nAccessible via Elevator\nLive DJ\nLocal Drag\nPay What You Can \nThat’s the power of GLIMMER. \nPlease RSVP below. \n
